10 Days of Amazing Family Time in Egypt

In the evening, the whole family will head with their tour guide to casting their eyes on the heavenly Sound and light show to fully witness the evolution of the ancient Egyptian civilization. Finally, the whole family will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant in Cairo.

The family will return to their hotel for the overnight.

The Giza Pyramids complex is the birthplace of many immortal attractions showcasing the legendary image of the ancient Egyptians, such as:

The Giza Pyramid of Pharaoh Khufu came into existence in 2600 BC to be one of the last seven wonders of the ancient world. It was designed by his vizier Hemiunu and is the tallest & biggest construction, reaching 147 m (481 ft) tall, and has 3.2 million limestone blocks weighing 6 million tons in total, containing marvelous designs such as the king’s chamber, the grand hall, and many more.

The epic Sphinx of Pharaoh Khafre (2558 – 2532 BC) was carved in 2500 BC from a single block of limestone. It is an immortal piece of art, known to be one of the oldest and largest man-made statues on earth. In front of the sphinx is the mythical Dream Stele of Thutmose IV, which was added in 1404 BC.

The Valley Temple of Pharaoh Khafre is where the mummification process was performed. Inside the valley are many granite columns, statues, and alabaster floors.

The Family will head back to their hotel to spend the overnight in their Cairo hotel.

The High Dam of Aswan is a modern attraction that was constructed in the 60s and 70s to have control of the annual flood, save the water in the artificial lake Nasser, and produce electricity for the new industrial age.

Edfu temple is a true symbol of greatness and power, built between 237-57 BC to honor the sky falcon god Horus of protection and victory. The Valley of the Kings consists of 63 rock-cut tombs dating from the 6^th to the 11^th century BC. It is a universal treasure that has enchanting decorated chambers belonging to many rulers like Tutankhamun, Seti I, Hatshepsut, the entire Ramses dynasty, and many more.

The holy of the holies Hatshepsut Temple is a symbol of beauty, class, and grace carved within the Deir el-Bahari cliffs in 1479 BC in 15 years to honor her heritage, containing a number of incredible statues of Amun, and shrines dedicated to Hathor, Anubis & Amun.

The Colossi of Memnon were carved from quartzite in 27 BC based on the face of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386 – 1350 BC) to hold some decorations and carvings on his throne dedicated to his family and his family.

The Hanging Church is the most prestigious and oldest Coptic church on earth. This church was constructed in the 3rd century on the same spot that once contained the holy family in the Roman Babylonian fortress during their heavenly journey in Egypt.

The celestial Al Muizz Street is home to the most incredible collections of works of artistic architecture which were established during the Fatimid period in the 10th century AD. Exploring the legendary marvels of Muizz Street that come in the shape of superior houses, mystical artifacts, beautiful cafes, and more will be a very enriching adventure.

The Khan EL Khalili Bazaar is a golden wonder made for memorable shopping. It was paved between 1382-1389 AD under the rule of Sultan Barguq. The street is widely famous for having the best artisan workshops in the Middle East and the finest Islamic decoration carvings.

Finally, the whole family will return to their hotel in Cairo to spend the night.
